IFC Fall 2026 Recruitment Registration is Now Open!
Letter from
the IFC President
As President of the Interfraternity Council at San Diego State University, I am honored to welcome you to our website. The Interfraternity Council serves as the governing body for more than 1,300 fraternal men at SDSU. Our community is built on the values of brotherhood, scholarship, leadership & service and we are proud of the positive impact our members continue to make both on campus and throughout the greater San Diego community.

As IFC President, my goal is to strengthen collaboration between IFC chapters as well as greek councils, promote accountability and values-based leadership, improve the IFC’s organizational infrastructure, and continue building a community that is safe, inclusive, and forward-thinking. By working closely with university administration, chapter leaders, and national organizations, we aim to create an environment where every member has the opportunity to grow as a student, leader, and individual.
The future of the IFC community at SDSU is incredibly exciting. Over the next several years, we are committed to growing our community by increasing the number of chapters represented on campus. As part of this effort, we are excited to welcome two additional fraternity chapters, Pi Kappa Phi & Zeta Psi, beginning in Fall 2026. This expansion reflects the continued strength and demand for fraternity life at SDSU and will allow even more students to find connection, purpose, and belonging within our community.
Being a member of IFC means more than simply joining an organization, it means becoming part of something larger than yourself. Our members are leaders in the classroom, advocates for philanthropy and service, and individuals committed to creating lifelong friendships and meaningful experiences. Whether you are a prospective member, parent, or campus partner, I encourage you to explore all that our community has to offer.
We look forward to meeting all of those who are considering Rush in the Fall! As a reminder the fraternal experience at SDSU extends beyond the Interfraternity Council. You will also have the opportunity to find community and brotherhood within the United Sorority & Fraternity Council (USFC) and the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). Each council offers unique traditions, values, and experiences, and we encourage prospective members to explore all opportunities in order to find the community that feels like the best fit for them.
Lastly, I want to personally thank you for taking the time to learn more about IFC fraternity life at San Diego State University. We are excited for the future of IFC and look forward to continuing to build a stronger, more united Greek community for generations to come. If you have any questions about recruitment of the IFC please feel free to contact us at rushifcsdsu@gmail.com!
